Who we are
LLM Tokens is published by Hamperpick. Hamperpick is the trading name of Hamperpick Ventures LLP.
This policy explains what information LLM Tokens (“the extension”) handles. It applies only to the extension; the Hamperpick website has its own privacy policy.
In short
The extension runs entirely on your computer. It makes no network connections, has no account, analytics or tracking, and sends nothing to us or anyone else.
Information kept on your computer
The extension keeps the following on your computer so it can work. None of it is sent to us:
- Your LLM Tokens settings (the main model, the models shown and what Count Tokens leaves out), kept by the editor
What passes through it
LLM Tokens reads the text of the file or selection you have open and, when you run Count Tokens, the files you choose. It counts them in memory in a background process on your computer. The text is never kept, written anywhere or sent anywhere.
Downloads and updates
You install and update the extension through the Visual Studio Code Marketplace, which Microsoft runs (privacy statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement) or Open VSX, which the Eclipse Foundation runs for Cursor, Windsurf, VSCodium and other editors (privacy policy: https://www.eclipse.org/legal/privacy/). Each counts downloads under its own policy, and VS Code may collect telemetry under Microsoft’s privacy statement and your VS Code telemetry setting.
The extension adds nothing to any of this, and we see only download counts that do not identify you.
Who we share it with
Nobody: we do not receive information from the extension, so there is nothing to sell or share. We would share information only if the law required it.
Deleting your data
Uninstall the extension.
You can also delete the files listed above yourself at any time.
If you write to us
If you email contact@hamperpick.in, we use your address and message only to answer you, and delete them when asked.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the extension changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
